Adherence to EDAH Policies
1. Medical students should follow the training plan made by each medical department, and fulfill the requirements set by the directors, attending physicians, and chief residents in each medical department.
2. Medical students should not perform medical practice independently, which including prescription, diagnosis, and treatment on patients. The medical practice should be under the supervision of qualified medical doctors.
3. Orientation: Clerks should download and scrutinize the files mentioned above in advance. One week before each new department, clerks should contact the teaching program director, to receive the orientation timely from them.
4. Weekly review:Every week, the clinical supervisor would review and feedback with clerks, using learning passports.
5. Be responsible, clerks should be presented during 8:00-17:00, Monday to Thursday, in EDAH. Besides, attend all clerkship activities on time. If you must be absent, get permission in advance.
6. Clerks should attend the case-based discussion, teaching rounds, work rounds, conferences in each department. Clerks should orally present the cases in diverse settings. Supervisors will assess the overall performance of oral presentation and kept in the passport.
